CK Clinic was founded by Chris Kempson (CK) in January 2015. Chris had gained years of experience as an MSK physiotherapist whilst working in New Zealand and Bristol and always dreamt of opening his own clinic.

Chris started up on his own with the support of his wife Louise who helped with the admin side of business. Initially he worked evenings and weekends until June 2015 where he decided to go full time, at the same time he found out he was to become a father for the first time.

2016 proved to be a challenging year having to move the clinic twice for reasons beyond Chris’s control. Chris remained focused and positive as the business began to grow and expanded the team by introducing massage therapists to compliment the physiotherapy treatment.

By 2018 CK Clinic consisted of 6 therapists and Chris moved the clinic back up to Bumpers Farm into a larger ground floor facility.

Tragically on 11th of November 2018 Chris was killed down the road from his house after he was hit by a taxi leaving behind his wife Louise and young daughter Juliet. Chris was in the middle of completing his Masters and was so passionate about getting patients better and it was his wish for the clinic to continue. Louise is now the sole managing director of CK Clinic and will keep his amazing legacy alive.
